How it works
The TASC Foundation manages community funding from TASC’s carbon mitigation projects, prioritising local needs with transparency and efficiency. Governed by a diverse Board, including senior TASC managers and an independent director, we ensure communities receive real benefits. Each project proposal undergoes thorough evaluation, and we closely monitor progress and impact. With TASC covering operational costs, all funding allocated goes directly to the communities.
Community projects
Community funds come from TASC’s carbon mitigation projects and third-party donations. In South Africa and Zambia, beneficiaries receive Improved Cookstoves for free, in addition to a share of carbon revenue for local initiatives.
